The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has expressed its gratitude to Iñaki Williams following the forward’s decision to retire from international football on Friday.
In a heartfelt message celebrating his contribution to the national team, the GFA thanked Williams for his commitment, passion and pride whenever he represented Ghana on the international stage.
“Thank you for your service to the BlackStars, Iñaki.
“We are grateful for the commitment, passion and pride you showed every time you represented Ghana. Wishing you the very best, always, Kwaku!”.
Williams (32) scored just two goals in 28 appearances for the Black Stars.
