Adesa Productions Limited (APL), the broadcast rights holder of the Ghana Premier League, has confirmed its first broadcast fixture for the 2026/27 season, with Hearts of Oak set to face Berekum Chelsea on Sunday at the University of Ghana Stadium.
The new Ghana Premier League campaign gets underway this weekend, with fans expected to enjoy extensive television and digital coverage throughout the season.
The highly anticipated Hearts of Oak vs Berekum Chelsea clash will be broadcast live on TV3, Onua TV and other streaming platforms operated by Adesa Productions.
The opening fixture of the 2026/27 campaign will be played on Saturday, when Vision FC host Young Apostles in the first league game of the new season.
For Hearts of Oak, Sunday’s encounter presents an opportunity to end an unwanted run. The Phobians have not won their opening league game of a season since 2016 and will be hoping to begin the new campaign on a winning note.
Berekum Chelsea, however, are expected to provide a stern test, setting up an intriguing contest at the University of Ghana Stadium.
