Adesa Productions Limited (APL), a subsidiary of Media General, has launched a new website aimed at strengthening its digital presence, showcasing its productions and creating new opportunities for business partnerships and collaboration. The launch, held at the Executive Theatre of TV3 on September 25, brought together key personalities from the media and creative industries, including the General Manager of Onua TV, Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) contestants, media practitioners, bloggers, writers, contributors and other industry stakeholders. The event was hosted by media personality Godwin Namboh.
Deputy General Manager Welcomes Guests
Deputy General Manager of APL, Chantelle Asante, welcomed guests to the launch and explained the significance of the event. She highlighted the importance of APL’s growing digital presence and its efforts to expand its content and creative offerings.

As part of her address, Chantelle announced that APL will soon introduce a new television series titled Eno Bruwaa, adding to the company’s growing portfolio of productions. In addition, the Head of Productions also revealed another project APL was working on; the Adesa Digital Icon Awards.
General Manager Unveils APL’s Vision
General Manager of APL, Afeafa Nfojoh, formally introduced the new website and outlined the vision behind the platform. She described the website as more than just an online presence, but a digital window into APL’s work, services and opportunities for collaboration. She highlighted APL’s experience in television production, live broadcasts, sports production, events, branded content, digital content and other creative production services, noting the company’s focus on providing quality, innovative and reliable production solutions. According to the General Manager, the website will allow individuals, organisations and brands to learn more about APL’s services, explore its productions and projects, keep up with the company’s activities and connect with APL for business opportunities.

She encouraged brands, organisations and the general public to visit the website, explore APL’s work and services, and engage with the company for bookings, partnerships, advertising and other business opportunities.
The official unveiling was accompanied by a video presentation showcasing APL’s digital productions and a snippet of the Ghana Premier League, followed by the website reveal and a pyrotechnic display.

The Head of Production at APL, Kweku Duah Prempeh, took guests through the newly launched website, demonstrating its features and highlighting the various services, productions and opportunities available on the platform.

His presentation was followed by a question-and-answer session involving APL’s management and bloggers, providing an opportunity for guests and digital media practitioners to interact with the company’s leadership and learn more about its digital direction.
The launch also recognised APL’s writers and contributors for their role in creating content for the company’s digital platforms.
The event received support from bloggers and digital media platforms, including Ameyaw TV, Gist Online and KYS Africa, whose representatives were present to support and cover the launch.
Closing and Vote of Thanks
