Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko says his side have quickly shifted their attention to the Ghana Premier League after their CAF Champions League exit to TP Mazembe.
The Tarkwa-based club will begin their title defence against Vision FC in Tema on Saturday, with Tanko confident his players are ready for the demands of the domestic campaign.
“I think the Ghana Premier League is a different league altogether. We have been to all the venues last season, so we are very much prepared for every game,” he said.
Medeama enjoyed a strong campaign last season to win their second Ghana Premier League title and will be aiming for another positive start as they begin their defence.
With their continental campaign now over, Tanko and his players can devote their full attention to retaining the league crown.
