
As part of its 2026 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, NESCAFÉ held the maiden edition of NESCAFÉ Campus Groove: My Coffee, My Vibe, an exciting singing and dance competition designed to discover, celebrate and provide a platform for talented students from tertiary institutions across Ghana.
The competition brought together some of the country’s most promising young talents, who battled through rigorous stages of competition to earn a place among the finalists. At the end of the selection process, 18 students:9 singers and 9 dancers were shortlisted to compete for the ultimate prize.
The competition was divided into two rounds for each category. Following the first round of performances, four contestants from each segment advanced to the final phase, where they had the opportunity to prove that they had what it takes to emerge as the ultimate Campus Groove star.
The night featured an impressive panel of judges comprising DanceGod Lloyd, a pioneer and influential figure in Ghana’s new generation dance scene, award-winning musician Adina Thembi and Strongman,the award-winning rapper and former music competition winner.

The singers brought their A-game to the stage, delivering powerful vocals, captivating performances and impressive stage presence. The dancers were equally remarkable, showcasing creativity, energy, technical skill and some of their best moves as they battled for the top spot.
After an intense night of performances and competition, Joshuanda emerged as the winner of the singing category, taking home GHS 30,000 and NESCAFÉ products. Kweku Winna placed second, winning GHS 10,000, while This Kid took third place with GHS 5,000.

Beyond the competition, the evening also featured a special celebration as the NESCAFÉ team surprised judge, Adina Thembi with a beautiful birthday cake, adding a memorable personal touch to an already exciting night.

With its focus on discovering and nurturing young creative talent, NESCAFÉ Campus Groove has the potential to become more than just a competition,it could become a launchpad for Ghana’s next generation of music and dance stars.
Could NESCAFÉ Campus Groove: My Coffee, My Vibe be the platform that unearths Ghana’s next big stars? Absolutely. If the talent and energy displayed at its maiden edition are anything to go by, the future of Ghanaian music and dance is already brewing.
