Nana Ama McBrown, host of Onua Showtime, invited bloggers from across the country onto her show, Showtime, to engage them and express her gratitude for their support in the creative and arts industry.

The Friday, September 18 edition of the show pulled in nearly 20 top bloggers and content creators, including Kobby Kyei, Gist Online KYS Africa, Tina News, Bessah GH, G World, Nkonkonsa, Yaw Dollar, Banda Trends, Dagaati Girl, Ghana Naija Updates, Get Info, Mondokay, Cello GH, Ghana Insider, Ghana News, Dadzie TV, Shiny, BSK, Ruthie, Plus 1 TV, De Prince, De Phamous, Akwaaba TV, Poku 1 TV, Nahbaff, Frinzy, Hector, and Xtwo Media. Gist Online, popular among celebrities in Kumasi, was notably part of McBrown’s entourage during her Ama Tour.

During the engagement, the bloggers shared their journeys into content creation, from casual social media posting that snowballed into full-time blogging, to career switches from formal jobs and trading, to reinventions after leaving traditional media houses. Several credited McBrown’s endorsement and support with significantly boosting their followership and visibility.

The bloggers also spoke on how the industry has given them a source of income, access to high-profile personalities, and a growing public profile; outcomes they say wouldn’t have been possible without platforms like Onua Showtime backing their work.
