Hearts of Oak’s perfect start to the Ghana Premier League season came to an end on Sunday after they were held to a 0-0 draw by Bechem United at the University of Ghana Stadium.
The Phobians had won their opening two matches, beating Berekum Chelsea 4-0 before a 2-1 comeback victory over Bibiani Gold Stars.
Hearts created several chances, with Nsobila and Kader coming close, but Bechem United’s defence stood firm. Augustine Okrah also tested the Hearts goalkeeper from distance, but neither side could find the breakthrough.
The result leaves Hearts of Oak with seven points from three matches.
Hearts will travel to Tamale to face Karela United in Matchweek 4, while Bechem United host Dreams FC.
