Asante Kotoko’s Hubert Gyau and Aduana FC’s Seidu Saana have been charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for an alleged breach of Article 34(6)(d) of the Ghana Premier League Regulations, 2025, following their teams’ league encounter.
The GFA alleges that the two players behaved in an improper and unsporting manner that brought the game into disrepute during the pre-match formalities.
The alleged incident occurred before kick-off in their matchweek 4 meeting at the Baba Yara Staium as the two teams went through the official pre-match proceedings.
Both players have been given the opportunity to respond to the allegations and have until Wednesday, September 30, 2026, to submit their respective responses.
The charges remain allegations at this stage, with any further action to be determined through the GFA’s disciplinary process.
Aduana defeated Asante Kotoko 2-0 at the end of the match.
