Ghana’s National U-15 Boys team signed off their FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival campaign in Azerbaijan with an emphatic 4-0 victory over Colombia.

The young Black Starlets bounced back strongly from a 7-1 defeat to Brazil in the Tier A Ranking Play-Offs to deliver a convincing performance in their final outing.

Ghana had earlier missed out on a place in the quarter-finals after losing 7-6 on penalties to Paraguay following a 2-2 draw in regulation time.

Despite the setback, the team enjoyed an impressive tournament, recording eight victories in 10 matches, scoring 44 goals and securing a place among the competition’s top eight sides.

Shamsudeen Sulemana and Abdul Aziz Issah were among Ghana’s standout performers, with both players making significant contributions to the team’s attacking display throughout the competition.

Ghana’s final victory over Colombia provided a fitting end to their participation in the FIFA Talent Development Scheme tournament.
