Get ready for maximum heat, high-stakes pressure, and mouth-watering innovation as Kitchen Wars Season 5makes its highly anticipated return. Ghana’s premier cooking showdown is officially set to debut its explosive new season this Sunday, 1st November 2026, at 5:30 PM, exclusively on TV3. Proudly produced by Adesa Productions Limited (APL), this fresh installment is bringing even tougher kitchen challenges, bolder flavors, and intense institutional rivalries.
Returning with its legendary, crowd-favorite main tagline, “Kitchen Wars – Your Skuul Fit Cook?”, the show brings back the raw excitement that fans have loved since Season 1. This iconic Pidgin phrase directly challenges the culinary skills, teamwork, and institutional pride of secondary schools across the country. This season is not just about the student contestants; it is a battle for the ultimate bragging rights of the schools’ massive communities, putting a massive spotlight on the passionate alumni networks of the various institutions who rally behind their alma maters.
Following a spectacular fourth season that culminated in a historic victory for Benkum Senior High School (Benkum SHS), the defending champions have set the bar incredibly high. This year, elite schools from across the country will put their passion, speed, and local culinary flair to the ultimate test under the watchful eyes of their proud old students.
To guide viewers through this high-energy, 13-week journey, the unmatched Giovanni Caleb is coming back as the main host, bringing his trademark vibrant charm, wit, and showmanship to the kitchen floor. However, that is not all, producers have confirmed that Giovanni will be joined by a surprise co-host whose identity will be revealed during Sunday’s premiere episode.
From traditional Ghanaian delicacies reimagined with a modern twist to fierce battle rounds under the ticking clock, expert judging awaits the contestants as they fight to survive elimination. Only one school will rise above the flames to claim the ultimate bragging rights and be crowned the Season 5 Kitchen Champions. Don’t miss the premier episode this Sunday at 5:30 PM on TV3, and follow Adesa Productions Ltd online to see whose flavors reign supreme.
