Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has joined the national team setup as Clubs and Player Relations Manager.
Gyan will serve as a link between the Black Stars, players and their clubs, with responsibilities including player welfare, communication and engagement.
Ghana’s all-time leading scorer with 51 international goals, Gyan brings extensive experience from his international career, which included three FIFA World Cup appearances and several Africa Cup of Nations campaigns.
His new role will also involve supporting and mentoring players while helping strengthen coordination between the technical team and clubs.
