Ampem Darkoa moved closer to the semi-finals of the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League after securing a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Uganda’s Kawempe Muslim Ladies in Egypt on Thursday.
Beline Nyarkoh emerged as the match-winner, scoring seven minutes from time to hand the Ghanaian champions their second Group B win at the Suez Canal Stadium in Ismailia.
Nancy Amoh opened the scoring for Ampem Darkoa in the eighth minute, taking advantage of a goalkeeping mistake before Nabirye Shadia drew Kawempe level in the 33rd minute.
With both sides pushing for a winner after the break, Nyarkoh delivered the decisive moment in the 83rd minute to seal all three points for the Ghanaian representatives.

Ampem Darkoa will now turn their attention to a crucial final group encounter against Moroccan giants AS FAR, where they will seek to secure qualification for the last four.
