Asante Kotoko striker Emmanuel Mamah says the Porcupine Warriors are determined to leave Samreboi with all three points when they face Samartex at the Nsekyire Sports Arena on Sunday.
Mamah, who previously played for Samartex, will make an emotional return to his former home for the first time since joining Kotoko this season.
The striker says Kotoko have drawn motivation from Hearts of Oak’s impressive away win over GoldStars last weekend and believes they must also deliver on the road.
“Our rival Hearts of Oak won their away game, so it’s important we also win ours. Against Samartex, we will go all out,” he said.
Mamah played a key role in Kotoko’s 2-1 victory over Heart of Lions last weekend, scoring one goal and providing an assist to help the club secure their first win of the season.
With confidence growing after that result, Mamah and his teammates will be hoping to maintain their momentum and claim another crucial three points against his former club.
