With three Star Performer wins and a place in the GMB 2026 final, Greater Accra’s representative has turned familiar cultural stories into unforgettable performances.

Corn was an unlikely leading character. In Lamiley’s hands, it became the centre of a theatrical celebration of Ga food, history and identity.
Her “I Am Corn” presentation on Traditional Delicacy Night gave a humble ingredient the starring role. In a corn-inspired costume, with props and storytelling, the Greater Accra representative explored the meaning behind regional dishes, including kpokpoi and its link to Homowo, the festival that celebrates victory over famine.
The result was a double win: Star Performer and Best Costume. It also showed Lamiley’s gift as a contestant: finding a gripping story in something people already know.
An early statement for Greater Accra

Lamiley made her mark in the opening live show on August 9. Under the theme “My Region,” contestants had to show what makes their regions distinctive.
She presented Greater Accra as a place where city life and cultural heritage live side by side, highlighting its tourism and festivals. Her entrance to Nii Funny’s “Ga Vibes,” featuring Mzbel, brought the energy, and judge Janet Sunkwa-Mills praised her for staying true to her culture.
She took home the season’s first Star Performer award, and the competition knew her name.
Paciencia Naa Lamiley Boye holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Theatre Arts and a master’s degree in Law. It is a background that suits a campaign built on performance and clear communication.
When food became a story

The August 23 food challenge gave Lamiley room to develop that approach. Rather than simply naming dishes, “I Am Corn” used theatre to connect an ingredient with the traditions built around it.
Her costume carried the idea visually, while the performance explored the cultural meaning of Ga cuisine. Judge Nana Adwoa Awindor praised her knowledge and her representation of the culture.
The two awards honoured both the delivery and the look. It was her second Star Performer win of the season, building on her opening-night success.
Bringing a Ga heroine to life
On September 13, Lamiley returned to the winners’ circle for “Heroes and Heroines of Our Land,” where contestants celebrated notable figures from their regions and explained their contributions.
She portrayed Naa Dode Akaabi, remembered in Ga tradition as a pioneering female ruler. The choice took her storytelling from food and festivals to women’s leadership and historical memory.
On the night, Janet Sunkwa-Mills praised the freshness of Lamiley’s take on a story already seen on the GMB stage. She crowned the night with another Star Performer award and a personal third in that category.
Finding the words for the final
Ghanaian Folklore Night added another honour, Most Eloquent. The semifinal challenge asked contestants to bring traditional stories to life through cultural understanding, theatrical creativity and clear expression.
It widened the range of her record. Across four themed nights, her verified honours stand at three Star Performer awards, one Best Costume and one Most Eloquent.
She also secured a place among the six finalists, setting up a final appearance at the National Theatre on October 18, 2026.
A chance to bring the crown back to Accra
Greater Accra has won the coveted Ghana’s Most Beautiful crown twice, through Adoley in 2008 and Naa in 2020. Six years later, Lamiley stands on the brink of making history once again, with an opportunity to secure a third crown for the region and write her own name into its legacy.
However, her journey has been about more than winning. From transforming ordinary corn into an unforgettable cultural performance to bringing Naa Dode Akaabi’s story to life, Lamiley has consistently demonstrated creativity, versatility, eloquence and cultural pride.
Her journey embodies the essence of Ghana’s Most Beautiful: beauty with purpose, culture with pride and a commitment to meaningful social impact. She has not only celebrated her heritage but challenged perceptions, educated audiences and reimagined cultural storytelling.
Beyond the crown
She hopes to advance Motioned Mind, an initiative dedicated to breaking barriers, unlocking human potential and empowering individuals to move from being overlooked to being understood, supported and given opportunities to thrive.
As the grand finale approaches, Lamiley carries more than Greater Accra’s hopes for another crown. She carries a vision for what the crown can achieve.
For Greater Accra, a third crown. For Lamiley, a platform to move minds, transform lives and build a lasting legacy.
