Onua Showtime with McBrown delivered an entertaining blend of music, celebrity conversations and cultural highlights, welcoming popular personalities and Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) queens for an engaging Sunday episode.

Hosted by Nana Ama McBrown, the programme opened with a lively performance from gospel musician Praiz General and Pastor Kofy, also known to have participated in Mentor 2. The performers promoted the upcoming Ghana’s Praiz Experience 2026, scheduled for November 1. McBrown later joined them on stage before inviting Kwacy Boat to deliver another performance.

The show continued with an appearance by the top three finalists of Ghana’s Most Beautiful Season 20 Legacy Year. They were Nana Konadu, the first-ever winner from the Bono Region.

Sessinam, the first runner-up from the Volta Region.

Ampomaa, the second runner-up from the Ashanti Region.

During their conversation with McBrown, the queens reflected on their experiences in the competition, which celebrates Ghana’s cultural heritage and promotes unity among the country’s regions. Their appearance also highlighted the attractive prizes awarded to the contestants, including cash prizes, educational scholarships, travel opportunities and other sponsor packages.

In another segment, McBrown and the programme’s pundits paid tribute to actor Kwame Dzokoto, recognising his contributions to Ghanaian entertainment and his pioneering role in food vlogging.

Actress Yvonne Okoro also appeared on the show to promote Agency of the Dead, a film produced by Ken Attoh, Joselyn Dumas and Shirley Frimpong-Manso, which was scheduled to premiere on October 30 at Silverbird.

The discussion later shifted to Ghana’s vibrant music scene, with McBrown and the pundits exploring major concerts and entertainment events, including Rapperholic Kumasi, Zama Disco, Bhim Fest, Asakaa Rave, Rapperholic Accra and the Revival Concert.

Rapper Kojo Blak was another major highlight of the episode. The artist joined McBrown to promote his song “Ability,” featuring Medikal. Their conversation continued after a commercial break before Kojo Blak treated the audience to a musical performance.

The episode combined music, celebrity interviews, cultural conversations and entertainment, reinforcing Onua Showtime with McBrown’s position as a platform for showcasing Ghanaian talent and celebrating the country’s entertainment industry.
