Ghana head coach Carlos Queiroz has named a 24-man squad for the upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Côte d’Ivoire and The Gambia, as well as the international friendly against Morocco.
The squad includes several players from Ghana’s recent World Cup campaign, while Mohammed Kudus returns after recovering from the injury that ruled him out of the tournament.
Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare retains his place alongside Lawrence Ati-Zigi and Joseph Anang, while Nathaniel Adjei returns after almost a year away from the Black Stars following a strong spell with French Ligue 1 side Lorient.
SV Elversberg’s Jan Gyamerah and New York Red Bulls defender Ronald Donkor have also earned places after impressing for their respective clubs.
Kudus is joined by returning Brighton winger Ibrahim Osman and Sassuolo midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana.
Ghana will open their campaign against Côte d’Ivoire on Thursday, September 24, before hosting The Gambia at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday, September 29. The Black Stars will then travel to Morocco for a friendly against the Atlas Lions on Sunday, October 4, 2026.
The three fixtures will provide Queiroz with an opportunity to assess his squad as Ghana begin preparations for the next AFCON campaign.
