Aduana Football Club has been fined GHS 30,000 and ordered to play its next three home matches behind closed doors following incidents that marred its Ghana Premier League matchday three fixture against Karela United FC in Dormaa.
The decision was taken by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Disciplinary Committee after the Club was found guilty of misconduct arising from the conduct of some of its supporters following the match.
According to the disciplinary ruling, supporters of Aduana FC attacked an official of Karela United FC and subsequently damaged the Karela United team bus after the game.
The Committee consequently imposed a GHS 30,000 fine on Aduana FC as part of the sanctions for the misconduct.

In addition to the financial penalty, Aduana FC has been ordered to play its next three home matches behind closed doors. The sanction means the Club will be required to stage those fixtures without spectators at the venue.
The Disciplinary Committee has also directed Aduana FC to bear the full cost of repairing the Karela United FC team bus, which was damaged during the post-match disturbances.
The Club has further been issued a warning that any recurrence of similar misconduct could result in more severe sanctions.
